Wait a minute… is all of CASA’s programming free?

Yup. You heard that right. All of Winthrop CASA’s programming is free. Our mission is to provide no-cost, safe, and inclusive opportunities that empower youth to reach their full potential.

From open recreation nights to Youthworks career readiness training, CASA is committed to creating spaces where 7th through 12th graders in Winthrop can grow, connect, and thrive. By removing financial barriers, we ensure that every young person in our community has equal access to resources that help them succeed.

Why does free programming matter?

How does CASA make it all happen?

CASA is not just a resource—it’s a community-powered movement. Our ability to provide free, prevention-based programming relies on the generosity of individuals and organizations who believe in our mission. Your support allows us to sustain and expand our efforts, ensuring that every young person in Winthrop has access to the tools and resources they need to succeed.

Every contribution makes a difference. Whether it’s donating time, funds, or expertise, your involvement helps us continue creating safe, inclusive spaces for our youth and families.

Free programming is about more than accessibility—it’s about fostering equity and inclusion. Every child in our community deserves the chance to build social-emotional learning skills, strengthen mental health, and develop resiliency, regardless of their circumstances.

CASA’s programs are designed to meet young people where they are, providing essential support and meaningful engagement opportunities. These experiences help our youth navigate challenges, build self-confidence, and find their place in a connected, resilient community.

The impact of CASA’s free programming.

CASA doesn’t just offer programs—it builds a community. In group settings, students learn to communicate, collaborate, and support one another, fostering friendships and developing lifelong skills. These experiences create a ripple effect, strengthening not just the individual participants but the entire community.

We are proud of the difference we make in the lives of young people, and we invite you to join us in this journey. Together, we can empower the next generation to thrive.

Ready to join the fun and make a difference? Whether you're looking to get involved or want to keep our programs free for everyone, CASA is the place for you. Your support, big or small, helps keep all of this going.

Let’s keep creating opportunities together — for you, for your friends, and for the whole community
